The File Name
When you are saving your video, make sure the file name is the title of your video and includes your best keyword. The file name is important because when you upload your video to Youtube, the file name becomes your video title and that will be what Google recognizes.
Once you’ve uploaded your video to Youtube, you have a chance to write a description about it. You can also add a link back to your website and social media properties if you like. It’s important to include your keywords in the description because that will be how people find your video along with the title. Google does a poor job of actually determining the words in the video, so it relies heavily on the description when deciding what your video is about. Don’t stuff your keywords in and don’t list them at the end of the description. Just write a very natural description that includes your keywords sprinkled in.
Once you’ve created your video, uploaded it to Youtube and optimized your title and description, it’s time to share it on social media. Hopefully you have a Facebook page, Twitter and a few other social media accounts. Post your video to them and if you have created interesting and informative content that doesn’t contain too much self promotion, your video will get share and likes. Now you’ve got some traction on spreading the word about your business.
